Donation to Turkey-Syria Earthquake

Unicharm Corporation (CEO & President: Mr. Takahisa Takahara) announces the following aiding activity collected through our in-house “Matching Fund*” to support the affected areas and people in Turkey and Syria Earthquake which occurred this February.

Unicharm donated 3,386,000 yen to Turkey and Syria through the United Nations Agency (UNHCR).

<About the “Matching Fund*”>

It has been initially established after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 for the purpose of "supporting the areas affected by the disaster”. Under this in-house campaign, the employees purchase original polo shirts, jackets and other goods for wearing during the term of "Cool Biz" and "Warm Biz", and the company adds the equal amount of money purchased by the employees and donate the total amount to the affected areas.

March 1st to the 15th, 2023

We sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery of the affected areas.

We will continue to work with the Japanese government and trade organizations to provide appropriate support.
