Under the corporate brand essence of “Love Your Possibilities,” the Unicharm Group aims to create a society where all people can believe in their potential and live true to themselves. Within this context, Unicharm has declared its purpose (raison d’être) to be contributing to the achievement of the “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” and believes that addressing social issues and environmental problems will lead to the realization of “Sustainability.”

In the newly issued “Sustainability Report 2026,” we feature our various sustainability initiatives along with detailed data, focusing on the fiscal 2025 results of our medium- to long-term goals announced in 2020: “Kyo-sei Life Vision 2030” and “Environmental Targets 2030.” Furthermore, with the aim of improving the transparency of our disclosure of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) information, we have expanded the report to be more comprehensive and specialized compared to the 2025 edition.

Considering that five years have passed since the announcement of these two goals and certain results have been achieved, we announced a new medium- to long-term ESG goal, “Kyo-sei Life Vision 2035,” in October 2025, which integrates and develops both goals, and we have launched initiatives based on this new goal from fiscal 2026.

Unicharm will continue to recognize that addressing social issues and environmental problems, and maintaining and strengthening appropriate governance structures, are essential for sustainable corporate value enhancement, and will promote further initiatives. In addition, we will expand information disclosure in accordance with international standards and aim to be a company trusted by all stakeholders.
