Unicharm Group Announces Medium- to Long-Term ESG Goals
“Kyo-sei Life Vision 2035”
Unicharm Corporation (President & CEO: Mr. Takahisa Takahara) announced today, October 22, 2025, the Unicharm Group’s medium- to long-term ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals titled “Kyo-sei Life Vision 2035 – For a Diverse, Inclusive, and Sustainable World” on its official website.
We have adopted the corporate brand essence: “Love Your Possibilities – You can do anything. Anytime, always.” This message reflects our belief in the limitless potential within everyone and our desire to realize a “cohesive society” where people support one another by expressing that potential with compassion and altruism.
To embody this vision, we launched our previous medium- to long-term ESG goals, “Kyo-sei Life Vision 2030,” on October 22, 2020, and have since engaged in company-wide initiatives. The outcomes of these efforts have been disclosed through our Integrated Report, Sustainability Report, and on our website.
Building on the achievements and lessons learned from “Kyo-sei Life Vision 2030,” we have revised our key themes and goals and will launch the new “Kyo-sei Life Vision 2035” starting in 2026.
By steadily implementing “Kyo-sei Life Vision 2035,” we aim to accelerate the simultaneous realization of solving environmental and social issues, contributing to consumers and local communities, and achieving sustainable business growth.
“Kyo-sei Life Vision 2035” is based on the “Unicharm Principles”—our commitment to fair and transparent corporate management that earns the trust of all stakeholders—and is structured around supporting and protecting the following three types of well-being (see diagram below):
