Held the Third Information Exchange Session on Visualizing GHG Emissions
- Inviting relevant Ministries, Industry peers, and Environmental-related companies, etc. -
Unicharm Corporation (CEO & President, Mr. Takahisa Takahara) held the third information exchange session on visualizing GHG emissions on November 24, 2023.
Given that "de-carbonization is a theme that is difficult to achieve significant results on its own," we believe that it is necessary to expand the initiative to include the entire industry, not just the daily necessities industry. In doing so, we believe that it is important to make the activities friendly to consumers who actually use the products and services.
In light of the above, meetings were held in May and August of this year to exchange opinions on the visualization of GHG emissions, and this third meeting reviewed the past activities and discussed the direction for 2024.
