Donation to Turkey-Syria Earthquake

We would like to express our condolences to those who lost their lives in the massive earthquake that struck southern Turkey and northwestern Syria. We would also like to express our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the earthquake.

・Unicharm will donate 10 million yen to Turkey and Syria through the United Nations Agency (UNHCR).

・In addition to the above, we will also collect donations from our employees through our in-house "Matching Fund*".

We will continue to work with the Japanese government and trade organizations to provide appropriate support.

We sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery of the affected areas.

※It has been initially established after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 for the purpose of "supporting the areas affected by the disaster”. Under this in-house campaign, the employees purchase original polo shirts, jackets and other goods for wearing during the term of "Cool Biz" and "Warm Biz", and the company adds the equal amount of money purchased by the employees and donate the total amount to the affected areas.
